No Contact AI helps you go “no contact” and heal after a breakup. Because the app holds personal and often sensitive details about how you feel and what you're going through, protecting that information matters to us.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the No Contact AI mobile app, website, and related services.

Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways when you use No Contact AI:

Information you provide

  • Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the basic profile information those providers share (such as your name, email, and a provider account identifier). Magic-link sign-in uses your email address.
  • Content you create.The app is built around personal, sometimes sensitive content you choose to enter, including no-contact streaks and pledges, mood and emotion check-ins, logged urges and slips, journal and “vault” entries, and messages you paste in for the AI to interpret.
  • Communications. If you contact us for support, we keep your messages and contact details so we can respond.

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage data. How you interact with the app and website, such as features used, screens viewed, and actions taken.
  • Device and log data. Technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and timestamps, collected to keep the service secure and reliable.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. On the website, we use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the service. We do not use them to track you across other websites.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain No Contact AI;
  • Power core features, including streak tracking, check-ins, and the AI tools that talk you through urges and interpret messages you paste in;
  • Personalize your experience and surface patterns and insights from the data you log;
  • Send you account, security, and service-related messages (such as sign-in links and important notices);
  • Monitor, debug, and improve the service, and develop new features;
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security risks, and enforce our terms;
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

Where required by law, we rely on the following legal bases to process your information: performance of our contract with you (to provide the service), your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service securely, and compliance with legal obligations.

AI features and your content

Some features use artificial intelligence to respond to content you submit — for example, helping you through an urge or interpreting a message you paste in. To do this, the relevant content is sent to trusted AI service providers that process it on our behalf to generate a response.

  • We share only the content needed to produce the response you requested.
  • We do not sell your content, and we do not permit our AI providers to use your content to train their general-purpose models.
  • AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. It is not professional, medical, legal, or mental-health advice. Please see our Terms of Service for more.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. With vendors who process data on our behalf and under contract, such as cloud hosting and database providers, AI processing providers, email delivery, and authentication providers (including Google and Apple when you choose to sign in with them).
  • Legal and safety. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
  • With your consent. For any other purpose we disclose to you and to which you agree.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete individual entries within the app, and you can delete your account at any time. When you delete your account, we delete the personal data associated with it, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Backups and logs are purged on a rolling schedule.

How we protect your information

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricting access to personal data to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities where required by law.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise many of these directly in the app:

  • Edit or delete individual entries you have created;
  • Delete your account, which removes your associated data;
  • Update your profile and account details.

To make any other request, email us at support@askli.co. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

International data transfers

We may process and store your information in countries other than the one in which you live, including the United States. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses — for international transfers of personal data.

Children's privacy

No Contact AI is not directed to children, and you must be at least 18 years old to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
